There is a gesture older than language — the act of wrapping your arms around someone and holding them close. The Abbraccio collection was born from that gesture, translated into solid teak and soft bouclé.

Designed by Milan-based Studio Ferrara, every piece in the Abbraccio collection shares the same defining DNA: sculptural teak frames that curve and arc like outstretched arms, cradling deep, generous cushions in hand-woven performance bouclé. The teak is Grade-A, sustainably sourced, and left to develop its natural silver-grey patina over time — or oiled to preserve its warm honey tone.

The name came first. Luca Ferrara sketched the original lounge chair on a terrace in Portofino, watching the way the old olive trees curved toward the sea. "I wanted to make furniture that felt like it was reaching for you," he says. "Not rigid. Not formal. Something that opens its arms and says: sit, stay, breathe."

From that single sketch, an entire outdoor world emerged — lounge chairs and sofas for long conversations, dining pieces for gatherings that last until the candles burn down, a rocking chair for the quiet moments, and a sun lounger for the afternoons you want to stretch into forever.

Every joint is hand-finished. Every curve is structural, not decorative. The bouclé fabric — a high-performance textile that resists UV, water, and staining — carries the texture of artisanal craft with the resilience of modern engineering. It feels like cashmere. It performs like armour.
